Echo Church Open Through Labor Day Weekend

Echo Community and Historical Organization has opened the historic Echo Church for summer tourists through Labor Day weekend. The church, located at 60 Temple Ln., in Echo, is currently showing “Chugging, Screeching, Rumbling, Billowing: Utah’s Industrial Revolution” exhibit from the Utah Division of Arts & Museums. Pride Month Events



Pride Month continues in Park City with the inaugural Mountain Pride Day set to run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, at Deer Valley’s Silver Lake lawn. Activities include live music by DJ Bentley, yoga and a group ride down Holy Roller. Deer Valley will donate 30% of lift ticket sales that day to Summit Pride. Swaner Craft at the Swaner EcoCenter



Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter, 1258 Center Drive at Kimball Junction, offers Swaner Craft Sunday, which features an upcycled nature-themed craft craft every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All ages are welcome to this drop-in formatted event. For information, visit swanerecocenter.org.

Song Summit Foundation’s ‘Healing Harmonies’

The Song Summit Foundation, formerly More Than Music Foundation, will celebrate Independence Day early with a fundraiser called “Healing Harmonies” on July 2. The event, which runs from 6:30-9 p.m. at the National Ability Center, 1000 Ability Way at Quinn’s Junction, will showcase the work of SongwritingWith:Soldiers, a nonprofit organization that uses collaborative songwriting for positive change. It will feature veteran storytelling and live music. One highlight will be a discussion moderated by Ben Anderson, Park City Song Summit founder and director, and include panelists Jay Clementi and songwriters Danny Myrick and Erin Enderlin. High Country Fly Fishers Monthly Meeting

High Country Fly Fishers, the Park City chapter of the nonprofit environmental organization Trout Unlimited, will hold its monthly membership meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1505 White Pine Canyon Rd. This month’s presentation will be given by Hatch Academy Owner Brandon Hill, who serves on the Utah Stream Access board of directors. ‘Rock of Ages’ at the Egyptian Theatre

The Ziegfeld Theater Company will present the Tony Award-nominated jukebox musical comedy “Rock of Ages” from July 3 to July 7 at the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. “Rock of Ages,” recommended for ages 14 and older, takes place in 1987 and celebrates the era’s Hollywood rock scene.
